Profile

Prof Paul Roe leads the research cluster in smart tools and services in the Faculty of IT; he also directs the Microsoft QUT eResearch Centre. His main research interests are in wireless sensor networks and data management. His current projects are focussed around the vision of an environmental observatory for monitoring environmental change using wireless sensor networks and participatory sensing.
