QUT's Faculty of Law will present Climate Change: The Science and the Law as part of their Free Public Lecture Series for 2008. The two renowned QUT speakers include Professor Peter Grace who will give an overview of the science of climate change, and Professor Doug Fisher who will discuss the contribution of the law to the climate change debate.
This lecture series is FREE and open to the public, however registration is essential.

QUT's Dr Wendy Miller will present a series of FREE informative, educational, and practical seminars on 'Living Green' at the Community Hub in Kelvin Grove. These seminars include information on green renovating and building practices for the home handy-person; green gardening and food production; green water management - what's happening in south-east Queensland; how to make sure that your investments and superannuation are ethical and green; solar power for the home; and green shopping opportunities. These seminars are open to the public.
